Cagliari defender Mina is still reeling from Colombia's elimination from the World Cup, stating that their original goal was to win the championship.
Colombia was eliminated from the World Cup after losing to Switzerland on penalties in the Round of 16 final. In an interview, Mina said, "Our original goal was to become champions. We believed we had no limit. We didn't expect to lose. We were in good form."
Mina is still upset and responded to criticism on behalf of the national team: "We are a healthy and very humble team. Our original goal was to reach the final and win it. This is painful, something we didn't expect. There are always people who want to ruin everything. I thank these lads because they gave it their all, and we leave with our heads held high."
