On August 8th, Beijing time, the Venezuelan Football Federation issued an open letter stating that FFE is affecting the order of football governance, and that they still believe in Infantino's leadership.

Venezuelan Football Federation Open Letter

Subject: Events related to FIFA FORWARD ENTERPRISE (FFE)
Your Excellency Chairman:
We hereby formally convey the position of the Venezuelan Football Federation regarding the recent public controversy surrounding the proposal known as FFE (FIFA Forward Enterprise). This proposal has generated significant public opinion globally, undermining FIFA's institutional order and the sound governance of world football.
In this letter, we wish to inform you that, as a FIFA member association, we positively evaluate FIFA's decision to terminate this project. The project raised far more questions than certainties. We also acknowledge the communication sent by your management to the 211 member associations, expressing apologies for the incident and acknowledging errors in the process. In our view, this demonstrates the self-reflection and corrective capabilities necessary for managing international football affairs.
We believe it is necessary to acknowledge that under your leadership, FIFA has made significant progress over the past decade in governance, football development, and tournament growth, while also promoting the development of its member associations. Today, FIFA has become a more open organization, enabling participation and support from all members and promoting the development of local sports around the world, making football a truly global sport—and our country is a prime example of this.
The Venezuelan Football Federation has witnessed this paradigm-shifting change firsthand. Our organizational structure has been continuously improved, our training facilities enhanced, and our competitive level elevated – achievements largely thanks to the strategic support provided by FIFA through the FIFA Forward program. Venezuela was even selected as one of the pilot countries for the **FIFA Talent Scheme**, and has received support and assistance from various FIFA departments in refining its charters, systems, and internal governance processes.
Therefore, in the face of the current challenging situation, the Venezuelan Football Federation reiterates its firm commitment to fulfilling its institutional responsibilities and fully supports the existing rules and governance mechanisms of international football. At the same time, we reiterate our continued belief in your ability to continue leading FIFA.
We firmly believe that adhering to the charter, upholding democratic consultation, and conducting constructive dialogue are the only correct ways to maintain stability, mutual respect, and unity within the global football family.
We reiterate our commitment to continue working under your leadership, in collaboration with other member associations, to promote the popularization and excellence of all aspects of football.
Kind regards.
Venezuelan Football Federation
