The Mexican Football Federation supports FIFA President Gianni Infantino's call to uphold the rules and regulations.
The Mexican Football Federation firmly believes that football is a fundamental value, and the best way to defend it is through institutional norms, as well as respecting governance mechanisms and ensuring the procedures that safeguard these mechanisms.
Therefore, the Mexican Football Federation will not recognize or approve any procedures convened outside of this system, and will respond to President Infantino's call on August 5, 2026, to collectively continue developing football for the benefit of its 211 member associations.
The Mexican Football Federation supports President Gianni Infantino's leadership and will continue to promote the development of football by strengthening institutional frameworks.
