According to L'Equipe, Barcelona striker Ferran Torres has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for a five-year contract.
The 26-year-old center forward scored the winning goal in the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina. He has informed Barcelona that he will leave the club a year before his contract expires.
Paris Saint-Germain sees Torres as an ideal versatile striker, believing he can fit into Ramiro Enrique's attacking system. Enrique's attack is undergoing significant restructuring, with Gonzalo Ramos, Lee Kang-in, and Mouani all having left the club. Liverpool's interest in Barkola may also be tied to him, with the Reds reportedly prepared to offer €115 million for the French winger.
If the deal goes through, Torres will become Paris Saint-Germain's second signing this summer after Akliusz. Negotiations between the reigning Champions League champions and the La Liga champions are reportedly in advanced stages.
